Place available on Controller’s Course

There will be a NI controllers course on the weekend of 13-14th January at the Tollymore  Mountain Centre. David May from the British Orienteering Federation will lead the course and provide expert tuition and his wealth of experience of developing high quality events at all levels of Orienteering.

An additional subsidised place is now available to the club for this course.

Attending would be extremely beneficial to any Club member who wishes to improve (or consolidate) their Orienteering Planning / Controlling skills. If you are interested (or would just like some more information), please email  Charlie@niorienteering.org.uk

Xmas 2017 Event Results

Thanks to David Blair for planning and organising an excellent event using both sides ofor Ballykelly forest. We had a good number of club members as well as visitors from LVO and Scotland and some club members from the past.

Afterwards members enjoyed a meal at the Drummond where we celebrated Noel Bogle’s 80th and we then held our AGM.

Happy New Year and orienteering in 2018.

Xmas Event / AGM

Just a reminder about the post Xmas opportunity to burn off some turkey at Ballykelly Forest on Wednesday 27th December (and undo some of the good work afterwards at the Club AGM and meal)!

Please note we have split the Green course into long and short to cater for a greater range of appetites on the day! If you have already booked a book – you don’t need to do it again.
